Cathal Friel is a successful entrepreneur, was part of the team who successfully established Merrion Stockbrokers in Dublin and in 2007 founded corporate finance boutique Raglan Capital. He is the Chairman of Poolbeg Pharma plc and hVIVO plc world leader in testing vaccines and antivirals using human challenge trials. He co–founded Amryt Pharma plc, and Fastnet Oil & Gas plc. He was a finalist in the International category of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2020. Amryt acquired for $1.48 Billion in January 2022.
