Anemos Analytics logo

Anemos Analytics delivers advanced condition monitoring and predictive diagnostics, using real-time multi-sensor data to detect faults early and optimise maintenance. The Anemos platform was first deployed in April 2025 and is currently implemented across 90 turbines. All contracted Anemos turbines are managed by Earthmill.

Core Services:
  • Advanced Condition Monitoring System (CMS) with multi-sensor vibration detection for wind turbines
  • 24/7 real-time monitoring using state-of-the-art tri-axial sensors and high-frequency data
  • Analysis and trending of over 100 variables with complex, automated alarming features
  • Predictive analytics that monitor the rate of change in asset condition to forecast potential failures
  • Clear identification of degradation in critical turbine components (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, etc.)
  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services performed by fully qualified personnel, both as needed and on a recurrent annual basis.

The wind energy sector is becoming a cornerstone of the UK’s clean energy transition and net zero ambitions. Continued policy support, grid upgrades, and community engagement will be critical to sustaining this growth trajectory.

As demand for renewable energy grows, repowering ensures that established wind farms remain productive, efficient, and competitive for decades to come.

What is Repowering?

Many of the earliest wind farms are reaching the end of their lifecycle, however rather than shutting them down, energy developers are choosing a smarter solution: repowering.

Repowering involves replacing and upgrading ageing wind turbines with newer, more powerful and efficient models, increasing their energy yield and power output.

The UK Government’s 2025 strategy to accelerate onshore wind development has driven a significant and immediate increase in repowering activity, as turbine owners seek to maximise feed-in-tariff revenues. This represents an attractive driver of both near-term project revenues and longer-term contracted, recurring income.

It is estimated that, by 2030, over 200 wind farms across Great Britain, representing upwards of 3.2 GW of capacity and over half of current capacity, will face repowering decisions.

What are the Benefits?
